This is the most common and valid question about distance Reiki. It's natural to be curious or even skeptical. How can you feel something when the practitioner isn't in the same room?

The simple truth is: Energy is not limited by distance. Just like Wi-Fi or radio waves, Reiki energy can be directed and sent to anyone, anywhere in the world. The session is just as powerful as an in-person one.

Preparing for Your Distance Session

A little preparation helps you fully receive the benefits of the session from the comfort of your own home.

Create Your Comfort Zone

Choose a quiet space where you won't be disturbed for the duration of the session. This could be your bedroom, a comfortable chair in your living room, or any peaceful spot. Turn off your phone notifications and let others in your home know you need some uninterrupted time.

Decide on Your Position

You do not need to lie on the floor. The best position is the one where you feel most comfortable. This can be sitting upright in a supportive chair or lying down on your bed or sofa. Have a blanket nearby in case you feel cool.

Have an Open Mind

Let go of expectations. Your only job is to relax and be open to receiving the energy. There is no right or wrong way to experience it.

What Happens During the Online Session?

The process is simple, gentle, and guided by me from start to finish.

1. The Connection Call: We will connect at the scheduled time via a phone or WhatsApp call. We'll have a brief, confidential chat about your goals for the session.

2. Settling In: After our chat, I'll ask you to get into your chosen comfortable position. We will then end the call, and you can simply close your eyes and relax.

3. The Healing Transmission: From my end, I will begin sending the Reiki energy to you. I will connect to your energy field remotely, focusing on clearing blockages and restoring balance. You don't need to do anything but rest.

4. What You Might Feel: While relaxing in your own space, you may experience a variety of sensations. Common feelings include deep relaxation, warmth, coolness, gentle tingling, or a feeling of floating. Some people see colors, while others feel a gentle emotional release. It's also normal to feel very little or simply fall into a peaceful, meditative state. The Reiki is working regardless of what you physically sense.

5. The Conclusion: After the designated time, I will send you a message to let you know the session is complete. I will then follow up with any insights and give you a moment to share your experience if you wish.

After the Session: Gentle Aftercare

The balancing effects of Reiki continue even after the session ends.

How to Integrate the Healing

  • Drink plenty of water. This helps your system to continue clearing and rebalancing.
  • Take it easy. If possible, allow yourself some quiet time after the session to let the energy settle.
